# How do I change my profile and account?

Under Profile you see your groups, change settings and phone number, sign out or delete your account.

## What Profile shows

- Your name and how many groups you are in.
- Your groups. Tap a group to open it.
- Simple mode and Notifications under Settings.
- Phone number, Sign out and Delete account under Account.
- Your photos: the newest photos you posted.

## See which name the others see

The name comes from Vipps, Apple or Google, or you enter it the first time you sign in. It can have up to 100 characters, and everyone in your groups sees it. The app has no button to change the name yet.

## Change your phone number

Tap Phone number under Account, then enter the new number and the code you get by text message. If the number belongs to another account, you can move it to yours. Read more about [the phone number](https://skokk.no/en/slik-virker-skokk/innlogging#telefonnummer).

## Choose a color for each group

In the member list you choose Color for the group: green, blue, pink, purple, orange, red, teal or lime. Only you see the color, and it only applies on your phone. If you are in 1 group, the app icon gets the same color on iPhone and iPad, and iPhone tells you when the icon changes color. If you are in several groups, the icon is green. On Android the icon is always green.

## See which language the app uses

The app follows the language of the phone. If English is at the top of the language list, you get English, and otherwise Norwegian. Almost all error messages from the server are in Norwegian, while the text messages come in the same language as the app.

## Sign out

## Delete your account

Tap Delete account under Account. The app asks “Delete your account?” and says “We delete your photos, videos and comments. You leave all your groups. You cannot undo this.” Read exactly what we [delete](https://skokk.no/en/slik-virker-skokk/sletting#konto).

## Questions about your account

### Can I have a profile picture?

No, skokk shows the initials of your name.

### Do the others see the color I chose?

No, the color is only on your phone.
