# How does simple mode work?

Simple mode gives large buttons with words. On iPad and other tablets skokk shows one photo at a time, and on a phone simple mode gives large buttons on the camera.

## Turn on simple mode

Go to Profile, and turn on Simple mode under Settings. The choice applies to the phone or tablet where you turn it on, and it stays also if you sign out. The app treats the device as a tablet when the shortest side of the screen is at least 600 points.

## One photo at a time on a tablet

- The newest photo fills the screen, with the text “Kari sent a photo” and how many new photos are waiting. If you hold the tablet on its side, it also says when the photo came. “Next photo” goes to older photos.
- The buttons are “Like”, “Next photo” and “Back”. “Like” only shows in an unlocked group.
- There are no tabs. “Settings” at the top right opens Profile, and there you can use the Camera and Home tabs. Simple mode shows no comments, and you cannot delete photos there.
- You can hold the tablet upright or on its side. If the app has been closed for 5 minutes, it starts at the newest photo again. The number of new photos counts the photos the app has got.

## Large buttons on a phone

On a phone, Home looks the same, but the camera gets large buttons, the format is always 4:5, and the Format button is gone. “Save” does not show under the photos.

## Turn off simple mode

On a tablet, tap “Settings” at the top right. That takes you to Profile, where you turn off Simple mode. On a phone, go straight to Profile.
